Local administrations play a fundamental role in making decisions that assure population safety and protection of the region and its resources.
Preventing events such as floods and landslides is the only way to reduce the risk of disasters in the future.
Complete safety cannot be guaranteed, therefore it is important to inform the population and to communicate transparently and effectively the hydrogeological characteristics of the region where they live and the risk connected.
